About the role

M. Divine Hair Salon in Welshpool is looking for a full-time hairdresser to join their team on 38 hours a week. The role covers a broad mix of salon work: greeting clients and providing friendly service, cutting hair using a range of techniques and tools, preparing and applying colour, and carrying out treatments such as deep conditioning and scalp massages, some of it under supervision. Day to day duties also include washing and sanitising tools, keeping stations and the salon clean, sweeping hair, restocking towels and products, and monitoring inventory for reordering. There is a front of house side too, with booking appointments, processing payments and recommending aftercare products. They are after someone with at least one year of hairdressing experience, a solid grasp of hygiene, colour application and blow-drying, and the ability to multitask in a busy setting. Good communication, punctuality and teamwork are valued. Pay is between 79,423 and 85,000 dollars per year.
