About the role

Fresh Futures Hair & Beauty Lounge in Alice Springs is after a qualified and experienced hairdresser to join their professional salon team. The role covers a full range of services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments, along with thorough client consultation to keep customers satisfied. Staff are expected to keep a clean, safe workspace in line with NT Work Health and Safety requirements, following infection control and equipment sterilisation standards. The role also involves mentoring trainees and apprentices as part of the salon's community training programs, plus some reception and administrative duties when needed. Applicants need a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent and two to three years of proven salon experience, with solid knowledge of current techniques and trends. A current Working with Children Check is required or the willingness to obtain one. Pay runs from 81,000 to 89,000 dollars per year.
