About the role

Jamal Osman, trading as Broadway Barber Shop Sydney, is after a skilled and experienced hairdresser to join the team in a full-time permanent role. The pay is $75,000 to $85,000 per year plus superannuation. Day to day, the work covers consulting with clients on their styling needs, cutting, trimming, shaping and styling hair, and carrying out colouring, bleaching, highlighting and treatments. The role also includes shampooing and preparing clients' hair, advising on suitable styles and hair care products, and managing appointments. Staff are expected to keep their work areas clean and organised and to meet workplace health, safety and hygiene requirements. The shop wants someone with at least one year of relevant hairdressing experience, solid practical cutting, colouring and styling skills, and strong communication. They value someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, present professionally and move efficiently in a busy environment. Interested applicants are asked to submit a resume.
