About the role

Sinclair Hair Salon is a full-service hair studio inside Sinclair Dermatology's East Melbourne clinic. They combine hairdressing with clinical hair and scalp expertise and use premium Kerastase products. The salon serves the general public as well as people with hair loss and scalp conditions, working closely with dermatologists to support their patients. This part-time role covers cutting, styling, colouring and washing, along with managing appointments, consultations, record keeping and keeping the salon clean and well stocked. Staff also learn about treatments for hair loss and scalp conditions, though prior experience in that area is not essential. They are after someone with at least 5 years as a hairdresser, a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent, and advanced cutting, styling and colouring skills. Pay is 75,000 to 90,000 per year with commission on retail sales.
