The role involves cutting, styling and colour work to salon standards, along with consulting clients about their needs and recommending suitable treatments and styles. Staff are expected to keep their workstation clean and hygienic, follow health and safety protocols and help senior stylists keep the salon running smoothly. Building client relationships and encouraging repeat visits are part of the job, as is keeping up with current trends and completing ongoing training modules. They are after someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliability and a genuine passion for hair. Customer service experience is a plus.
