About the role

Warewolf Barbershop is a modern shop in Mascot that focuses on men's haircuts, beard trims, hot towel shaves and head services. They are after a full-time hairdresser to deliver a full range of cutting and grooming work. The role covers consulting with clients about face shapes, hair types and lifestyle before recommending styles, along with shampooing, scalp treatments, cutting with scissors, razors and clippers, and colouring, bleaching, toning, straightening and perming. The successful applicant will also blow-dry, curl, braid and create up-dos, fit and style wigs, hairpieces and extensions, and trim beards and moustaches. Keeping workstations clean and sterilised, managing stock, booking appointments, processing payments and suggesting retail products are part of the day. At least 1 year of experience is needed and a hairdressing qualification is highly regarded. Strong salon skills, good time management, teamwork and the ability to work under pressure round out the brief. Pay is 80,000 to 85,000 dollars per year.
