Hairdressing apprentice and salon assistant

About the role

They are after an enthusiastic 1st or 2nd year hairdressing apprentice to join a luxury salon in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, with an immediate start available. The role suits someone with immaculate grooming, a positive and professional attitude, strong customer service skills and a genuine eagerness to learn. Prior salon experience is welcome but not essential. Day to day, the apprentice will greet and look after clients, prepare and serve refreshments, keep the salon clean and presentable, and assist senior stylists. There is hands on training in colour and extensions from award winning specialists, so the apprentice can build practical skills over time. The salon offers complimentary hair services, discounts on professional beauty products, mentoring from leading stylists, healthy team lunches on Saturdays and above award pay. This is a full-time position paying between 24 and 28 dollars per hour. It is a good opportunity for someone wanting to grow within a supportive, creative and high-end team.
