About the role

Our Place Salon in Potts Point is building out its team and is after hairstylists, cutting specialists, colourists, assistants and apprentices. This is a full-time role in a busy salon covering hair styling, cutting and colouring for clients. Staff consult with clients about the look they want, their hair type and lifestyle, then recommend the right service. Assistants and apprentices support senior stylists with colour mixing, product application and client prep while learning the trade under experienced staff. The shop values clean, hygienic workspaces and strong customer service that builds repeat business. They welcome a range of experience levels, from qualified stylists through to apprentices starting out. Relevant hairdressing or colouring qualifications are expected for stylist roles. They offer ongoing training and skill development, a mentorship structure for juniors, exposure to current trends and products, and remuneration in line with experience and qualifications. A collaborative, inclusive team culture rounds out the offer.
