About the role

The Base Hair Lab is a boutique salon and takeaway coffee hub in Parkwood on the Gold Coast, founded in 2021 and part of the Revlon Professional network. They are after a qualified hairdresser or advanced apprentice to join their team. The role is offered as casual with close-to-full-time hours, and full-time is available for the right person. Applicants need to be available for at least one late night per week and all day Saturday, with extra weekday shifts on offer. Pay ranges from 29 to 40 dollars per hour plus incentives. Perks include ongoing Revlon Professional education and technical support, chances to work at industry and fashion events, complimentary hair services, free onsite parking and a spot close to public transport. Experience with blondes, colour, extensions, social media or barista work is a bonus but not essential. Existing clientele is a plus but not required. They value personality, reliability and a genuine love for hair.
