About the role

Marcia Gibsons Hair Fashions is a long-standing Brisbane salon, running for more than 50 years, that specialises in curly hair styling. They work with premium organic products and hold strong ethical, inclusive and sustainability values, aiming to give every client a relaxed and friendly visit. They are after a full-time, energetic curl specialist to join their creative team. The role covers client consultations, home hair care advice, managing a busy column, product recommendations, ongoing training and supporting other team members. Applicants need a Certificate IV in hairdressing or an overseas equivalent, at least five years of senior hairdressing experience and three years specialising in curly hair, plus advanced curl by curl styling qualifications. Strong colour knowledge, including low tox and organic products, is expected, along with confident social media and on-camera skills. Pay is 67,000 to 77,000 dollars a year, above award.
