Senior hair stylist studio residency

About the role

The Botanical Room is opening one exclusive Studio Residency at its luxury hair atelier in Byron Bay. This is a chair rental style arrangement where a stylist runs their own business within an established, calm and premium environment. The residency includes a fully equipped workstation, premium botanical and low-tox colour, backbar, treatment and styling products, towels, laundry and cleaning, Wi-Fi and utilities, product education and support, plus the chance of client referrals. Stylists build their own clientele and set their own schedule, keeping the independence of self-employment without the cost of opening a salon. They are after an experienced stylist with at least 5 years behind the chair, confident in colour, blonding and cutting, who values quality over quantity and enjoys building long-term client relationships. Experience with botanical or low-tox colour is welcome but not essential, as training is provided. The focus is one client at a time, with no production-line work.
