Meli's Haircuts in Moggill, Brisbane is after a senior hairdresser for a permanent full-time role. The salon serves a diverse Australian clientele and is known for contemporary work as well as culturally inspired Indonesian styling for weddings, engagement ceremonies, formal occasions and other special events. Day to day the role covers cutting, styling, blow-drying and finishing for men and women, along with washing, conditioning, colouring and treatments. Client consultations, assessing hair type and condition, and recommending suitable styles are part of the job, as is working with traditional hair accessories and ornaments where needed. As a senior team member, the hairdresser also supports and mentors junior stylists and sets the standard for salon presentation and professional conduct. Applicants need a Certificate III in Hairdressing or higher and at least two years of full-time experience or the part-time equivalent. Pay is set at $80,000 per year plus superannuation.
