About the role

Just Cuts at Pacific Fair in Broadbeach is hiring senior hairdressers to join their team on the Gold Coast. The role is casual with up to 38 hours per week available, offering hours to suit different lifestyles. This is a non-chemical salon, so the work covers style cutting, shampoos, conditioning, dry offs, blow waves and beard trims, along with advising clients on hair care and styles. Pay sits at 38 to 42 dollars per hour, in line with the Hair and Beauty Industry Award 2020, with above-award rates on offer for the right candidate. There are also bonuses on product sales, points redeemable for prizes or cash and other cash incentives. Staff get all-day parking in the shopping centre and easy public transport access. They are after someone with a Certificate III and a completed apprenticeship, or three years of full-time experience in lieu, plus good communication skills and a friendly, well-presented manner. Ongoing training and recognition are part of the package. Overseas applications are not accepted.
