About the role

Just Cuts is hiring senior hairdressers for their salon at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. This is a casual role with up to 38 hours per week available, giving flexibility to suit your lifestyle. The salon runs a non-chemical environment, so the work covers style cutting, shampoos, conditioning, dry offs, blow waves and beard trims. There is also a no appointment, no request system that keeps things moving. Pay is $37 to $42 per hour in line with the Hair and Beauty Industry Award 2020, with above-award rates for the right person. Extra earnings come through bonuses on product sales, points redeemable for prizes or cash, and other incentives, plus a sign on bonus of up to $500. All day parking is available at the centre for a nominal cost. They are after someone with a Certificate III or completed apprenticeship, or three years of full-time experience, along with good communication and a friendly, well-presented manner. Ongoing training and rewards are offered.
