About the role

Telleish Hair Studio in South Melbourne is looking for a senior colourist and cutter to join a team of 28 stylists. They are after a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience who is confident in their craft and keen on ongoing training. A Certificate III in hairdressing or higher is required. The role covers cutting and colouring duties, running a busy column with good time management and delivering strong customer service. Pay is a salary of 78,000 to 88,000 plus superannuation, along with a commission structure the team regularly achieves. Perks include a customisable 4 or 5 day work week, every second Saturday off, 4 weeks annual leave plus a 2 week Christmas closure, and extended public holidays. Training is a big focus, with paid training during work hours, an in-house cutting educator, in-house colour education, Jam Days with industry educators and travel opportunities. The salon is an established, family-oriented business in its 16th year with a loyal clientele.
