About the role

Brush and Co in Reservoir is taking on an apprentice hairdresser, with all levels considered from first-year through to those wanting to transfer an existing apprenticeship to a new salon. No prior salon experience is required: they hire for attitude and train for skill. The role runs full-time on a flexible Tuesday to Saturday roster. Day to day you would welcome clients and manage the basin experience with shampooing, treatments and head massages, then assist the senior stylists with colour applications, blow-waves and styling. Keeping the salon tidy and inspiring is part of the job, along with actively taking part in your own training. The shop offers dedicated hands-on mentoring from senior stylists across cutting, colouring, styling and client care. They describe a friendly, drama-free team with Christmas parties and regular social events, working from a modern salon in the heart of Reservoir. They are after someone reliable, punctual, positive and keen to learn.
