Executive hair stylist, full-time

About the role

Earth To Betty Group is after an experienced executive hair stylist to join their salon in Ascot Vale, Melbourne. This is a full-time role that combines hands-on styling with a leadership position on the team. The stylist will deliver a full range of services including cuts, colour treatments and styling to a varied clientele, while also mentoring junior stylists through training and feedback. Day to day work includes managing your own bookings, keeping the salon presentation and hygiene standards high, and building lasting client relationships. They want someone with a recognised hairdressing qualification or solid proven experience, plus 3 to 5 years working as a stylist. Strong communication and leadership skills are important, along with current knowledge of trends and products. Experience with colour correction, advanced colouring and specialised treatments is preferred. Pay runs from 35 to 45 dollars an hour depending on experience.
