About the role

HMB Barbers is hiring an apprentice barber for their Gladstone store. They operate 17 shops across Queensland running a consistent walk-in barbershop experience for local communities. The role suits apprentices at any level, people with some hairdressing or barbering experience, or those new to the industry who want a career rather than just a job. Apprentices develop their technical skills while delivering services suited to their training level, building confidence across haircuts, fades, beard trims and shaves with growing efficiency. Day to day work includes greeting clients warmly, managing waitlists, following customer journey standards, keeping a clean and stocked workstation, processing POS transactions and recommending retail products. The successful person will complete apprenticeship coursework, respond well to coaching and follow WHS and safe work practices.
