About the role

Sarge's Barbershop is a premium men's grooming business in Sanctuary Cove, Hope Island on the Gold Coast. This is a quality-focused shop serving an established premium local market, not a discount or volume operation. They are after an experienced barber confident across men's haircuts, skin fades, taper fades, styled cuts, beard trims, beard shaping and traditional shaving. The role also covers grooming services such as eyebrow grooming, waxing and threading, along with client consultations and product recommendations. The successful applicant will help train and mentor junior or new staff, sharing skills and keeping service standards consistent. Strong hygiene, workstation presentation and customer service skills are important, as is the ability to handle both appointment and walk-in clients. On offer is full-time work with a salary of $80,000 plus superannuation, a supportive team environment, established customer demand and the chance to grow with the business as it expands.
