Barber, full-time

About the role

Brother Wolf runs multiple shops across St Kilda, Prahran and Fitzroy in Melbourne, and they are after a barber to join on a full-time basis of 38 hours per week. They want someone with at least two years of experience or a relevant qualification. Day to day the role covers cutting and trimming hair to suit each client's request or current styles, using clippers, combs, blow driers and scissors. There is a strong focus on shaving: applying lather and shaping beards, neck and temple contours with razors, including cut throat work. Both modern and classic cuts are part of the mix. Other duties include recommending treatments for hair concerns, promoting products and services, booking appointments and keeping client details recorded in the database. They also expect the barber to keep up with current styles and techniques and maintain professional knowledge. Pay is a salary of 79,500 to 85,000 dollars per year plus super.
