About the role

Riseley Square Barbershop on Riseley St in Ardross is after an experienced barber to join their team on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week. Pay is set at 80,000 to 90,000 dollars per year plus super. The role covers all aspects of men's grooming: consulting with clients on styles to suit their face shape and hair type, standard cuts, clipper cuts, zero and skin fades, long hair restyling and precise line-ups. Barbers also trim and shape beards, moustaches and goatees, and perform face and head shaves using hot towel preparation and cut-throat razor technique. Colouring and colour-blending, shampooing, styling and product advice are part of the job, along with keeping workstations clean and tools sanitised to strict hygiene standards. They want someone with Certificate III and two years on the job training or a Certificate IV, plus at least one year full-time experience. Without qualifications, three years full-time experience is required. Strong customer service and reliability are valued.
