About the role

Salmani Family are after a skilled and reliable full-time barber and hairdresser to join their team in Officer. The role runs 38 hours a week in a busy shop with strong client flow and a supportive team. Day to day work covers quality haircuts, fades, tapers and beard shaping using professional tools, along with client consultations to match the right style. The role also includes shampooing, conditioning, blow-drying, straightening and basic styling, plus assisting senior staff with colour or toning when needed. Keeping the workstation clean and sanitised to salon standards is expected, as is friendly service that builds repeat clients. The shop wants someone punctual who works well in a fast-paced setting. They ask for one to three years of barbering experience or a Certificate III or IV, or three years of full-time experience, with strong fade, taper and beard skills. Pay starts from 75,000 dollars a year plus super, with the chance to grow a personal clientele.
