Barber hairdresser, mobile aged care

Care Cuts · Taree, NSW · Posted today

$36-$40 per hour

About the role

Care-Cuts brings professional hairdressing directly to seniors living in aged care homes, offering cuts and styling that help residents feel confident and cared for. This is a casual role suited to a hairdresser who enjoys working with older clients and values a friendly chat as much as the haircut itself. The work is in person, visiting residents where they live. Pay is $36 to $40 per hour. They are after someone with around two years of hairdressing experience, though this is preferred rather than essential. To be eligible, candidates need an Australian hairdressing certificate, a current COVID-19 vaccination and a National Police Check. Australian work authorisation is required. The focus is on bringing a sense of dignity and connection to residents through quality, personalised hair care. If you want your skills to make a genuine difference in people's day to day lives, this role offers that chance in a caring setting.
