About the role

Razor Style at Hornsby Westfield is after a qualified hairdresser or barber to join the team full-time. The role covers consulting with clients on hair care, grooming and product choices, then delivering a full range of services: shampooing, conditioning and scalp treatments, cutting, trimming and shaping with scissors, clippers and razors, plus colouring, bleaching, straightening and perming. Styling work includes braiding, hair extensions and contemporary finishes, along with beard and moustache grooming. Staff also clean, colour, cut and style wigs and hairpieces when needed. Keeping workstations and tools sanitised to health and safety standards is expected, as is managing bookings and processing payments. Applicants need a relevant hairdressing or barbering qualification, or at least two years of industry experience, ideally an AQF Certificate III with two years on the job or a Certificate IV. Strong cutting, colouring and styling knowledge and solid customer service skills are important. Pay runs from 52,880 to 90,992 dollars a year. Benefits include free drinks and maternity leave.
