Senior hair stylist

About the role

Style Council Hair Collective is looking for an experienced senior hair stylist to join their salon in Port Kennedy. The role can be part-time or full-time, with flexible hours designed to suit your lifestyle. Pay is $35 per hour. Day to day work covers cutting, colouring, styling and chemical treatments for a diverse clientele, along with consultations, keeping detailed client records and building loyal repeat bookings. Senior stylists also mentor and guide junior team members. The shop is after someone with a recognised hairdressing qualification and at least five years of professional salon experience, strong technical skills across cutting, colour and treatments, and up to date knowledge of current trends. Good communication and time management are important, as is a commitment to hygiene and professional standards. Experience in a busy salon is highly regarded.
