About the role

The Cut Heathridge Hair Studio in Heathridge, Perth is looking for a part-time hairstylist to join their team. The role covers a full range of services: cutting, colouring, styling and treatments. The stylist will consult with clients about their hair type, needs and preferences, then make professional recommendations. Day to day work includes keeping tools and work areas clean and hygienic, managing appointment schedules so clients are seen on time, building relationships that lead to repeat visits and referrals, and helping keep the salon tidy and presentable. They are after someone with a recognised hairdressing qualification or equivalent experience, proven salon experience, and solid technical skills in cutting, colouring and styling. Good communication, a creative eye, attention to detail and reliable teamwork all matter. Familiarity with salon booking and point-of-sale systems is a plus. Pay is 30 to 35 dollars per hour. The shop offers flexible part-time hours, high end products and ongoing training in a supportive, close-knit environment.
