About the role

Desi Dude Men's Hair Salon Group is hiring across multiple Sydney locations plus branches in Woden ACT, Mawson Lakes SA and Nightcliff NT, with a listed base at Strathfield. The role is full-time and permanent at 38 hours a week, with days and times to be discussed and including weekend work on Saturday and Sunday. Pay runs from 75,000 to 85,000 a year plus 12 percent superannuation. The work covers haircuts, fades and modern designs, beard trimming, straight razor shaves with hot towel treatments, moustache grooming, colouring including grey coverage, scalp treatments, facials, ear and nose hair trimming, and selling hair products. The salon also expects help with reception, bookings, register duties and mentoring junior barbers. They are after someone with Certificate III plus two years on-job training or Certificate IV, and at least three years of experience in Australia or overseas. A background in Indian or Desi style barbering is preferred. Applicants need full Australian work rights.
