About the role

Baaz Production Pty Ltd, trading as Desi Barber Toongabbie, is a busy community salon in Sydney's west. They are after a skilled hairdresser to join their growing team on a full-time basis, with a salary of 79,000 to 89,000 dollars per year plus superannuation. The role involves managing your own bookings and schedule, delivering premium styling services to a mostly female clientele across cuts, colour and specialised treatments, and keeping the salon clean and presentable to health and safety standards. There is also a mentoring element: supporting and training junior stylists and helping them develop. Staff are expected to recommend retail products, advise clients on hair care and build lasting relationships that bring clients back. Applicants need at least two years of local professional experience cutting, colouring and styling all hair types, plus a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent. Experience with colour correction, advanced colouring or specialised treatments is preferred. Strong communication and a genuine passion for client service round out the brief.
