About the role

Fresh Futures Hair and Beauty Lounge in Alice Springs is looking for a qualified barber to join their growing team. The role covers a full range of men's grooming: haircuts, skin fades, tapers, clipper cuts and scissor cuts, plus beard trimming and shaping, hot towel shaves and facial grooming. They want someone who can consult with clients, recommend suitable styles and products, and keep tools and workstations clean and sterilised to Australian health standards. Applicants need a recognised qualification in barbering or hairdressing and at least two years of recent barbering experience. Experience in a busy shop, knowledge of current men's trends and familiarity with booking systems are all viewed favourably. The shop offers a modern working environment, ongoing training, a supportive team and career progression. Pay is a salary of 81,000 to 89,000 dollars a year. Housing is provided and visa sponsorship may be considered for eligible overseas applicants who meet Australian immigration requirements.
