About the role

Alamarah Barbers is an established business with several locations across Melbourne, and this role is based at their Geelong CBD shop on Moorabool Street. They are after an experienced barber to deliver high-quality grooming to their clientele. Day to day work covers men's cutting and styling, skin fades, taper fades and clipper work, along with beard trimming, shaping and grooming. The role also includes traditional and modern barbering services, hair washing and scalp treatments, and consulting with clients about their preferred styles. Keeping the space clean, safe and hygienic is expected, as is friendly, professional service. Applicants need at least two years of experience as a barber, with a relevant qualification preferred. Strong cutting and grooming skills, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important. The position is available on permanent full-time, part-time or casual terms. Pay is 35 dollars per hour. Interested barbers can apply with a resume and cover letter.
