Senior barber

About the role

Burbs Barbershop is an award-winning shop with locations in Maroubra and Dee Why, known for high-quality service and a professional workplace. They are after a dedicated and experienced senior barber to join their team on a full-time basis. Candidates should hold an AQF Certificate III with two years of on-the-job training, an AQF Certificate IV with 12 months of work experience, or at least three years of relevant barbering or hairdressing experience. The role calls for skill in classic cuts, modern styles and beard grooming, with confidence using scissors, clippers and razors. Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches is part of the work, along with arranging appointments and taking payments. The shop wants someone punctual, team-oriented and adaptable to different client preferences, able to work efficiently in a busy setting. Pay ranges from 75,000 to 85,000 dollars per year. Work is in person across the Maroubra and Dee Why sites.
