About the role

HSK Hair in Miami Beach on the Gold Coast is after an experienced senior hairdresser to join their close-knit team and help service a growing clientele. They want someone fully qualified with at least four years of post-qualification experience and a minimum Certificate III in Hairdressing. The salon has a high demand for colour and extensions and specialises in blondes, so a love of colour work is essential. Confidence with balayage, lightening, cutting, styling and blow-drying is expected, and extensions training can be provided. Three to four days are available, rising to five in the lead-up to Christmas, with flexibility around preferred days. Trading days run Tuesday to Saturday, including a late night Wednesday, with one Saturday off each month and a two-week break over Christmas. Pay is above award at 36 to 44 dollars per hour, plus a KPI bonus system, 20 percent commission on product sales and staff hair every six to eight weeks. Australian citizenship is required.
