About the role

Just Cuts is hiring a senior hairdresser for their Pacific Fair salon at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. The role is casual with up to 38 hours per week available, so hours can suit your lifestyle. The salon works in a non-chemical environment, focusing on style cutting, shampoos, dry offs, blow waves and beard trims. Pay is 40 to 42 dollars per hour, in line with the Hair and Beauty Industry Award 2020, with above-award rates offered for the right person. There is a 1,000 dollar signing bonus (conditions apply), plus bonuses on product sales and points redeemable for prizes, cash or other incentives. All-day parking is provided in the shopping centre for staff, along with public transport access. They are after someone with a Certificate 3 and completed apprenticeship, or three years of full-time experience in lieu of qualification. Good communication, a friendly manner, and tidy presentation are expected. Ongoing training and recognition are on offer. Overseas applications are not accepted.
