About the role

Sonder Men's Grooming is a premium men's barbershop group with eight locations across Sydney and Melbourne. Their Melbourne studio at 257 Franklin Street is a high-volume shop with an established client base, a modern fit-out and a team culture built on training and consistency. They are after an experienced senior barber or men's hairdresser to work the floor five days per week across a 38-hour week, including weekend rotation. The role covers all clipper work, fades, scissor cuts, layering and graduation, plus beard trimming and shaping. It also includes client consultations, product recommendations, and mentoring junior team members. Applicants need a Certificate III in Barbering or Hairdressing or at least three years in the trade, plus a minimum of two years in men's hairdressing. Pay is a base salary of $79,500 to $81,000 per year plus superannuation, with commission on service and product sales. They offer weekly team training, one-on-one skills development and a supportive shop culture.
