About the role

Onyx Studio is hiring barbers for its central Melbourne CBD studio. The role is available as direct employment on a full-time or part-time basis, and chair rental options are also on offer for those who prefer it. The team describes the workspace as a relaxed, positive environment with a friendly and supportive crew, and flexibility is part of the setup. Products and drinks for clients are included. They are after barbers confident in delivering high quality skin fades, scissor haircuts, beard trims, hot towel shaves and all other barbering services. A minimum of one year of experience is expected, and a Certificate III in Barbering or an equivalent qualification is preferred. The shop wants someone reliable, consistent and professional, with a good attitude and the drive to grow. Being able to promote yourself and build client relationships matters here, so applicants are asked for their barber Instagram. Pay is 80,000 to 90,000 dollars per year. Australian work authorisation is required.
