About the role

HMB Barbers is hiring for its Mackay store and is after a senior barber or skilled apprentice who wants a long-term career. The shop runs a network of 17 stores across Queensland offering a consistent walk-in barbershop experience. Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Day to day the role covers haircuts, beard trims and shaves delivered with efficiency and attention to detail, plus warm client greetings, managing waitlists and following the customer journey standards. Barbers keep their workstation clean and stocked, process POS transactions, promote retail products, follow WHS requirements and help with stock and store operations. Mentoring junior team members is part of the job. HMB partners with 4BARBERS Education for training and upskilling, and points to career paths towards master barber, manager, educator or shop ownership. Pay is $30 to $45 an hour with incentives and bonuses. Full-time, part-time and casual positions are available to suit different lifestyles.
