About the role

Top Cuts Darwin in Millner is after an experienced barber or hairdresser to join their team. The role covers a broad mix of work. On the barbering side that includes men's precision scissor cuts, clipper cuts and advanced fading, beard trims and shaping, traditional and modern shaves, kids' cuts and restyling. On the hairdressing side it takes in scissor cuts, colouring, styling and up-styling, treatments and personalised looks. Staff also handle daily salon duties: opening and closing, cleaning workstations, floors and mirrors, sanitising tools and keeping stock and displays tidy. They want at least 3 years' experience, strong technical skill, good attention to detail and reliable presentation. Shifts run 8 to 10 hours, day shifts, with weekend availability required. Pay is 57,000 to 90,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Extras include tips, performance-based bonuses and incentives, and an employee discount.
