First year apprentice hairdresser

About the role

S+S Hair & Beauty is taking on first year full-time apprentice hairdressers at their Strathpine, Capalaba and Kippa-Ring salons. No previous hairdressing experience is needed as full training is provided, so the role suits people currently in retail, hospitality or other customer service work who want a trade career. Apprentices are paid a wage while they learn and may be eligible for a government grant to help with living expenses. The salon group runs 26 locations across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, employs over 200 hairdressers and services more than 5000 clients a week. Perks include free hairdressing tools and equipment, free monthly hair services and hair and beauty products at discounted wholesale prices, along with training and career opportunities. They are after someone with a passion for hair, a strong work ethic, good customer service and pride in appearance. The role is 38 hours per week across weekdays and Saturdays, with no Sunday work.
